All you need is a few materials you can pick up at your local hardware store, like an extra-long electrical gang box.

And you’ll also need a blank wall plate.

找個乾淨的牆面再用探測器尋找可安置的空隙。

Search for a clean area of wall and then use a stud finder to locate an area between the studs.

一旦找到適當的一塊空心區域，量一量家中的插座大小，按照同等高度再多加個半吋 (約1.27公分) ，用尺與筆做上記號即可。

When you found a spot that works, measure a height that matches the other outlets nearby and add a half an inch.

Line up the mark with the bottom left corner of you gang box and trace around the sides.

Stick an envelope under the markings and grab an electric cutting knife.

Cut the shape of the box out of the wall. You’ll notice when cutting through the sheet rock, dust goes into the envelope, making cleanup just a bit more seamless. Cut carefully with shallow strokes, you don’t want to cut any unknown electrical wires by accident.
